WOYWW? Not a lot...

I'm Home!! (not sure how long for, so I'll type very quickly!!) Just in time for another What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday... hosted by the one and only Julia and Stamping Ground.
At last I can show you my work bench. I spend a few hours pushing back (out of camera shot) all the craftymess that had been sprawled across my whole craft room since Christmas. It's surprising how much can accumulate even when you're not there...so I'll blame it all on the cat, we call Jinksy, who, in spite of us being away, still called in and on some occasions spent the night! (and left one headless mouse... but I won't mention that!) Unlike sis-in-laws cats, (from last week) Jinksy has learnt very quickly that Lyn doesn't like cats on tables or kitchen work surfaces, so I'll let him off the mouse...just this once!
So, on my bench at Midnight (!!!) is a small plastic basket filled with 6x6 Papers that need to go in their 6x6 draw. A large box of Promarkers, which need sorting into their colours, I really can't find the colours I want, heaped in a box like that ... Christmas stamps that still need cleaning and Nesties that need putting away so they don't get thrown away by mistake! So if you want to show the World What's On Your Workdesk this Wednesday...you know where to go!
Thanks for calling by.

  5. Glad your home for now. I can see you definately need to arrange them promarkers, that would literally drive me mad! I also have quite a few dies out and about at the mo, must put them away, as you say they are easy to just bundle up with scraps and throw away! x

  13. What a lot of sorting you have to do ...I hate that part ...thats why I'm so untidy. That cat is so like our Sayba but she is a toally indoor cat. Strange name you might think ...yes ... we thought she was a boy and called her Saber.

  15. We've trained our cats - they don't jump up on surfaces, scratch the curtains/furniture or attack the Christmas tree! So well done to your Jinksy for being a good moggy too :)

  16. Nice that you are home! Bet it feels good.

You just need a few minutes in there and it will be right as rain and then you can mess it up creating again! teehee

  17. Ah, the terrible "putting away of things" that comes after playing. So tedious. I don't envy you!

  28. Welcome home! I'm with you about the cats on surfaces, and about putting nasties away before they get thrown away...they probably are the one thing that I do use and put away immediately! Hope you're enjoying some crafty time now you're back.

  33. My Promarkers are lumped together in one drawer but banded together in colourways so that I can take a pick easier. Just a thought if you are short of room.
    Love Jinxy!
Thanks so much for sharing - Hugs, Neet 195 (very late this week)xx

  35. Well Lyn, that's what I call a craft desk - good on ya, it's marvellous!!

Ooh I love Jinksy, he looks just like a cat we once had. I think tabby cats are much more affectionate than other kinds (except to headless mice that is!!)

Thanks for already stopping by my desk this week :)

  38. Hello Lyn, I'm a tad to late to say welcome home, you'll be well settled in again by now :) That cat looks as though she is also well settled in. I have to keep my markers sorted too otherwise I can't find what I'm looking for. Now I wonder what number we are going to be this week ... I suspect I'm going to be later this week but no worries, I don't mind at all. Elizabeth x #2
