The First WOYWW of April!

Yes!! April already! It'll be my wedding anniversary next week. Now how many years has that been?? Never mind! Onwards!! This is my messiness for this weeks WOYWW. I'm in the middle of changing things around (again).
First picture...Little Useful boxes are now up on the wall... yep they're crooked. Honestly, give a man a spirit (level) and he drinks it!In the middle...picture taken earlier as I was going to do a before and after picture (messy/tidy) but got waylaid playing with something I found! The supervisor (i.e the cat that isn't mine) now has to have his own chair, coz he keeps nicking mine.
On the higher bench, (I stand to craft and sit to compute) Stamps on shelf HAVE been tidied. I'm in the middle of doing a DT card...so you can count this as a sneak peek... The yellow Chick card was the 'thing' I found, made loads of chicks and bunnies, when my girls were little and put little chocolate eggs in that front pocket. You can also see my WOYWW badge, my WOYWW block of wood and my WOYWW turntable thingie, which I made years back...still not finished but in use! I might swap the cups for Bisto cartons (seen last week) as they have wider bottoms. (sometimes a wider bottom is best!) On the lower bench, (where the laptop is) London Bus tin, minus of shortbread, now has gell pens inside it. The papers slipped out of a folder, so they've been pushed up to make room for this weeks freebie... (not inked yet)And last but not least, on the wall... I thought I'd show you this mask we brought back some years ago, from a three day trip to Venice...we were just a little too late to see the Venice Carnival. although the confetti was still on the streets and the fabulous costumes were still displayed in the shop windows. Fabulous! Maybe next year. That's It!! Pop over to Julia's lovely blog the Stamping Ground and join in! Bye for now!

  16. Thanks, Lyn for the idea bout putting the mini Useful boxes on the wall. I have a set, with one missing (got lost in the garage) which is stuck on top of another unit. It would be much better down low and on the wall. Another job for DH, who is very good. Thanks for your visit and good wishes for Flash. Have a good week. xx Maggie #9

    1. yes Maggie, these must have been an 'older stock' because cheaper than normal and the holes were small and in the corners, others (dearer) I've seen had those type of shaped holes that you can hang on to screws but also take them off, if you get my meaning! I'd love all my Useful boxes to go onto shelves as taking one out usually means taking them all out to get to the 'one' at the bottom!

  35. Hi Spyder, love your little really Useful Boxes, they're great aren't they? And I adore the Venetian mask- I am a big fan of masks. Hubby thinks they're freaky, lol. Glad your daughter approves of the dormer- she certainly wouldn't of the original. The people who lived here before us were keen DIY'ers, which is cool, but whilst they had the enthusiasm, they lacked the skill! We find some real nightmares evert time we redo or decorate, lol.Happy WOYWW, Shaz

DH wants to go out somewhere nice for dinner so I had better find a dress in the closet cause I live in jeans and tee shirts now that I am retired. Hope you have a happy Easter. Vickie #60

  38. Are you useful little boxes individual or is that a one piece thing? Either way it is great to have it. Great crafty space with lots of fun things strewn about. It's great you had to give the visiting cat his own chair as he kept taking yours. I had a cat who would swipe mine the second I stood up, even if it was just to get good pressure on a stamp. I sat on that cat more than you can imagine.

  43. Ooh, let me know if you go to Venice for the Carnival. I'd love to do that some time. I have a mask we bought there on our last trip (I have been 14 times - do you think I like the place?)but the stick has fallen off.
Loving your new storage - at least he man can put shelves up - don't think mine can. I so want a new room - with elastic walls preferably.
Sorry I am so late, things got in the way. Thanks for sharing, stopping by me and putting your number (so appreciated.) Happy Easter - Hugs, Neet #10 xx
