  1. Hi Lyn, I am back snooping around and you are my very first stop. You are getting into the Christmas spirit all ready. I made Christmas cards for the craft show. And now I need a break. But, I need to finish my cards soon. Snooping sounds like so much more fun. #22

  7. Wow, Lyn, you are a lady of many talents! I've just read the first instalment of your novel and it's amazing... I can't wait to read some more. I had no idea you could do this sort of thing! I couldn't leave a comment on there because I'm not on Facebook or Twitter, so I'm doing it here instead.

Thanks for your visit and your lovely comment. My hubby is much better today, thanks - and he managed to put away his dinner OK this evening when we had a friend round. I am sure he'll be completely back to normal tomorrow.

Glad you like my art journal page and my latest tangle. For more info, see the previous posts on my blog.

  21. Hi Spyder - is that a teeny tiny tripod on your desk - it looks cute - could be a character in your book - Well done on getting your work out there. It is something I have difficulty with. I read the synopsis - a skill in itself! Sounds like a great plot - I love a bit of science fiction. Happy WOYWW to you from Helen 30

  27. That is an awesome idea for the cat food containers! You are so inventive!!! I love it when people reuse things for other purposes...and that is a great one. Thank you for the sweet snowman! Hard to believe it's not that far to Christmas. Where does the time go?
I'm going to have to read your chapter a little later, as I am intrigued. You are so creative; I'm sure it will be a delight to read. Enjoyed seeing all your craft stuff on your desk! Thanks again for the adorable snowman!

  29. Just read the first installment of your book. Great job! It was very suspenseful, and your writing style draws you into the story. Love how descriptive and detailed your writing is, and the way you write makes everything flow smoothly. Only saw one typo [I used to be a perfect speller, but no longer. :( ]And that was the word practice, I think. So glad you shared it! You have a sharp mind! Really can write the SciFi! :)
